Removing Financial Barriers.

Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activity. We’re committed to helping all families access a range of activities, including soccer, hockey, basketball, etc. Multiple subsidy options are available, two are listed below. COMMUNITY CENTRE PROGRAM REGISTRATION FEE SUBSIDY:

This program is designed to help families who need financial assistance to register their child in Community Centre activities. To apply for funding contact the community centre.

The following link is a SAMPLE for information only. Sample forms will not be accepted. Please call South Winnipeg Community Centre for subsidy forms.

The new form is available to fill in electronically.
Community Centres are required to approve the application and send the form to GCWCC.

Financial Requirements:

To be eligible for funding for one or more children, families must first meet specific financial criteria as per Revenue Canada’s Low-Income Cut-Offs (LICO) chart.

Applications:

Applications are to be submitted prior to registering in the program. Please ensure you complete an application prior to registration in your sport closing.
Applications must include proof of financial need. A clear, legible, and current copy of pages 1 and 2 of your Canada Child Benefit (Statement) will be required as proof of need. If you do not have this, alternative confirmation of eligibility may be accepted.
