The SWCC is ready to meet your social needs with two great locations to serve you!

SWCC – Waverley – 1885 Chancellor Drive

 

Capacity: 378 people maximum

Rental Fees (plus GST):

  • $1,895 (plus GST) for either Friday or Saturday night.
  • $2,195 (plus GST) for special event dates like New Years ‘Eve, Halloween or St. Patrick’s Day.
  • Clients can add an additional hour to stay open until 2 a.m. for an additional $200 plus GST.
  • Additional Bartenders can be booked with advance notice $200 plus GST.
  • The South Winnipeg Community Centre strictly adheres to maximum capacity and the rules and regulations of the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.

What’s included:

  • Three Bartenders
  • Air- Conditioning
  • Kitchen area with Large counter space accessing main hall
  • Access to multiple refrigeration units, a microwave & a stove
  • Pepsi products: Tonic Water, Club Soda Cranberry and Orange Juices, Clamato (and Tabasco & Worcestershire)
  • Coffee, to-go cups with lids, stir sticks, sugar/splenda and creamers /coffee-mate
  • Ice, Beer Cups, liquor cups, liquor dispensers, and water pitchers
  • Use of two cash boxes for the front door and ticket selling locations
  • Set-up and take down of tables and chairs (8′ x 3′ rectangle available)
  • Clean-up (washing of tables, floors and garbage removal

–   Clients can add an additional hour to stay open until 2 am to any social for an additional $200 plus GST.
–   Add a 4th bartender for an additional $200 plus GST.

 

SWCC – Richmond – 666 Silverstone Avenue

Richmond has two halls available for public rental however dates are limited due to sports and club programming.  Please call our office at (204) 269-7000 for pricing and availability.

Guidelines:

For either main hall a $300.00 damage deposit is required to secure your requested date.  This $300.00 also serves as a security deposit for your social date.  In the event that you cancel your social within 90 days of the event, South Winnipeg Community Centre will not refund the deposit.

On the night of the social a payment by credit card, debit, certified cheque, cash or money order must be made for the full amount.

We will refund you the sum of $300.00 by mail the following 10 business days should no damage occur. In the event damage has occurred, a SWCC General Manager will notify the renter.
