TRYOUTS:

Tryouts for the “AA” program are optional for U11, U13, U15 and U18 Players.

Players in these age groups who do not attend tryouts will automatically play in the “A” division. “AA” teams are usually formed with players from Fort Garry, Riverview, South Winnipeg and St Norbert.

2024 AA Tryouts are being arranged by Fort Garry Community Centre. Registration for tryouts will also be done through RAMP. Select the correct age group 11U, 13U etc… and select AA tryouts. Please indicate your home club and if you are willing to help out during  tryouts. Everything is run through volunteers, and the more help the better.

April 7th — Home Run Sports TC, 12:00pm-1:30pm

13UAA FG, SW, RV, StN

15 UAA FG, SW, RV, StN, MacDonald

April 6th — Home Run Sports TC, 7:30pm – 9:00pm

April 11th — Leila Soccer Complex, 7:15pm – 8:15pm

18UAA FG, SW, RV, StN, Macdonald

April 6th — Home Run Sports TC, 9:00pm-10:30pm

April 11th — Leila Soccer Complex, 8:15pm – 9:15pm

Tryouts for “AAA” are done through Winnipeg South Minor Baseball Association and are optional for 13U, 15U and 18U players. They will take place before Spring Break, and will include players for Corydon, Tuxedo, Charleswood, Macdonald, Fort Garry, Riverview, St Nobert and South Winnipeg.

If you have a problem with the form, please arrive early on the desired night and register in person.

Team formation for ‘A’ league will begin after AA tryouts have completed.

• We will most likely again be forming one AA 11U team from all three clubs

• For the older groups (13U, 15U, and 18U) the assumption is for both North (Ft. Garry and Riverview) and South (South Winnipeg  and St. Norbert) will form separate teams however, by holding combined tryouts, it is easier if players need to be transferred or if there are only enough players for one team

Coaches – please identify yourselves as soon as possible.  Also ensure your Respect in Sport is current.  If you require coach certification, please consult your club convener.

Coaches and Parents – we need help with the tryouts.  If you are available for all times for an age group and can evaluate or can help out please let me know.

If you cannot make one of the times listed below please contact me to arrange another time.  

2023 AA Tryout Dates

The tryouts will be April 11th, 15th and 16th. Registration will be done
through RAMP by following this link

There will be separate packages for 11U, 13U, 15U and 18U AA tryouts.
Registrants outside of the Fort Garry catchment should only select the AA
package and not the regular season registration through Fort Garry. As you
can see, the cost for tryouts is $30. The times for each age group as are
